Re: Pakistan vs Australia at Colombo, 19 March, 2011
From cricinfo:
Pakistan win by four wickets Umar can take a lot of credit for steering the chase home with an unbeaten 44. Shafiq set it up with a patient 46 but Brett Lee and Jason Krejza aside, Australia were impotent. Finally, after 34 games without defeat in the World Cup, Australia have been toppled. Intriguingly this sets up a likely clash between Australia and India in the quarters, while Pakistan will probably play West Indies.
Re: Pakistan vs Australia at Colombo, 19 March, 2011
well I am sure India would want to play Aussies rather than Sri Lanka. And with Aussie bowling, specially with Lee’s form, it will be a handful for them.
So India would probably want to win against Windies to be at no2.
Lets see…
Pak should be facing Windies in QF…they should start thinking what they will do on that pitch and agaist perhaps windies

Victory is sweet but must not go overboard. Still anybody's world cup in my opinion. Momentum is important in sport but remember this is limited overs cricket and it all boils down to how you perform on a given day

Dunya umeed say hee chaltee heay...
Lets think positive. They can win QF if the same team as today shows up for next game. Like Waqar said...think and plan 1 game at a time. Don't think ahead too far. Next 3 matches...bite off 1 at a time in team planning meetings.
Don't worry who will be in QF, or SF or even in Final. Just play the best cricket that you can.

Yes, but we must savour the moment. It is a very very special moment.

All I can say, I supported Pakistan from the beginning and I am not some glory hunter. All I wanna say at the moment is Alhumdullilah. Had fun watching this match and finally defeating Australia.
