Re: Pakistan vs Australia at Colombo, 19 March, 2011
I think most here feel as if Pak won the Final or sumfin…
Winning against Aussies and then so comprehensively is no small feat…
So many milestones and records set:
- Aussies defeated after many Worldcups today
- Defeated by None other than Pakistan
- Defeated comprehensively
- Pakistan top the table in the league matches
- Shoaib did not play still pakitan demolished aussies for a low total
- Younis and Misbah were removed but the young guys took the ship home
- The Underdogs are now being considered with some skepticism for the WC final
- No one single player showed the way, rather it was a full all out team effort from Pakistan
- Pakistan won by chasing under lights
- Now Pakistan won’t have to face Saffies in QF
