If you just look at the pitches used in AUS (not NZ), some are really spin friendly, and thats enough to merit AFRIDI a place in the playing 11 in AUS... though I also think he should have left atleast a year ago.
Misbah on the other hand doesnt really merit his place in the team just on his batting. Last year he made highest odi score in the world, but then hafeez was close second and we all know how hafeez fares against swing bowling... and has already become Steyn's fav bunny. This year Misbah had 2 ducks already!!!!

These are Misbah's scores this year. 210 scores in a total of 9 matches, making an average of almost 23 runs only.
For once I would like to see our playing under 19 in the original squad. Most are/were good players, but lost in lime light of the PCB selectors every now and then.
And then we dont have another Imran or a Javed to pluck some marvels outa mud, like waseem, waqar, inzamam...e.t.c
