Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

Pakistan Israel dosti Zindabad. Good to see Pak supporting the Jewish Brothers for a change. Pak must recognise Israel. We rip shirts like the Incredible Hulk.

UNITED NATIONS, Dec 11: Pakistan on Tuesday surprised the Muslim nations by voting for a resolution sponsored by Israel in a committee of the UN General Assembly. Most Muslim countries abstained.

Although the resolution sponsored by Israel and European nations related to “agricultural technology for development,” most Arab envoys said that until the issue of occupied territories was resolved, they cannot support any Israeli-sponsored resolution.

The resolution was adopted with 118 in favour and 29 abstentions.

Israeli Ambassador Dan Gillerman hailed the adoption of the resolution saying that a new spirit of cooperation existed among member states. He chastised South Africa for voting against the resolution.

No one from the Pakistan mission was available to comment on the vote.

Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Munir Akram was away in Bali (Indonesia) to attend the UN climate change meeting.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

enlightened moderation at work..bravo:halo::smiley:

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

well most of the Pakistanis will not accept israel untill bait ul muqadass is free. Thats my stand too. By the way the resolution was about agriculture technology ....so their is nothing wrong in it.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

^^ before that bait ul muqadass was not free for the Jews when the aRabs ruled it

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

^^ and that means for pak?

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

^^ what it means that Arabs have ZERO respect for holy sites that are non-Islamic

they blew up the Samarra Mosque, they destroyed Rachel's Tomb, they barred Jews from visiting the temple mount to pray at their most holiest shrine for 19 years

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

^^ still what it means for Pak?..

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

Good job Pakistan.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

great so finally pakistan has shown enough backbone to do what is in its interests and what is right. no issue with voting on something like agriculture technology.
to the others abstaining, have they not realized that this symbolic abstention does jack. reminds me more of some desi function where certain ppl will not talk to certain ppl because of disputes :D

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

:salam:

If it is in Paks interests then rock on. Something like this cannot hurt muslims either, agricultural reforms should be in their interest especially Pakistan which is an agrarian country.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

^ exactly

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

It's only a resolution on agricultural technology. Big deal.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

lol malik youre funny... i remember how vehemently you oppose america and israel like you used to on world affairs but at the same time you blindly support a dictator who literally prostrates to the white house. whats with the double standards? im sure mush loves israel and if given the chance will tie the knot for diplomatic relations.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

Bhaijan, aap kai moo mai ghee shakar. :k:

I can’t wait for PM Olmert coming to Pakistan and meeting all Pakistani political leaders just like the Turkish President did. :k:

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution

any israeli war criminal would have a diarrhea on islamabad airport if he dares come, cause he knows he won’t last very long in pakistan.

Re: Pakistan votes for Israeli resolution
