after sepending 1.5 months in India and a few days in NWFP in Paakistan…I wanted to give my impressions about the two countries in a comparative way…especially about something dear to american guppies: cleanliness and hygiene…
from what i’ve seen so far, it is obvious that Pakistan, NWFP, is far more clean and less polluted that North India, except Himachal Pradesh…and I’m looking forward to see if even South PK is also clean…i’ll tell next week after seing Karachi:D
I’d like to know if anyone has been to both countries…and what they think about it…

Don't be fooled by glamorous bollywood... Indian cities are filthy as filthy can be.. Do you ever watch TV? Cows and their crap all over the place, monkeys, holy vermin rats, ugly disease infested prostitutes (at least Paki ones are a nicer shade of olive)...

Paris-I don't know how both countries will compare-but I imagine they will be the same.
Dirt & dust: Same
People Looks: same
Ladies: in borqha: more in Pakistan
Safety: more in India
Language: almost same
Cosmopoliton: India more (being a secular country)
Tourists: more in India
I do know that South India is much cleaner and the people gentle, honest and humble. It is comparitively much safer than North India-even for girls to travel alone.

People looks:I think only north india is similar to pakistan .gujratis and sindhis are same.south india is much like srilanka.you wont find anyone like the balochis pakhtuns in india.
Language: only punjabi urdu and sindhi.millions in india speak the dravidian languages tamil telegu etc etc in south. No one in pakistan has any idea about what spoken in manipur assam orissa etc same goes for india no clue about balochi pashto
Tourists:alcoholic drinks are not available so easily in pakistan and no nudity in resorts and beaches so why would they come to pakistan.
