rd my signature 4 dat

Yeah, 500 wickets for Akram, too sweet!!! And if we win the cup, Akram will retire in style, like Imran bhai!!! I just hope he doesnt spoil anything by making a comeback…

The way he bowled today, it might just take him this Zimbabwe series to get to 500.

Saeed Anwar is the thing of the past, he has permanently lost his forum. A person who is off from cricket such a long time and tries to make a comeback almost never works. Unless Allah lends him a big hand then he comeback but till than we need to look for someone new.
I am not saying Taufeeq Umar and Saleem Elahi should get the opening spot but someone who is young and continue their cricket consistenly and with no injuries.

Umair about Waseem completing his 500 during ZIM tour that is very possible if he bowls the way he did in 2nd ODI, I am sure he will reach that mark.

Now about Saeed.

I know in the past I have criticized him too and even I mentioned he should retire when he failed to perform but that was only when he did not performed. And looking at PAK team specially experience wise I am sure Saeed will be handy and plus we don't have any stable openers so I think Saeed bhai being in the side will make a difference. We will see we don't have to wait long. :)

Saeed is on the way down for sure, but the fact is we just don't have any top quality openers at the moment. I would wait and see how Taufeeq and Elahi perform against SA which will be a true test of their ability.
