It was just not a day for Pakistan.That’s all.
Indeed till the first 15 Overs of W.I innings,Pakistan was in total control and some senseless bowling did the damage.
I believe too much importance was given to W.I spinners and gave away wickets.Barring a couple of wickets all other wickets were prize catches.Had Pak batsmen played a sensible cricket,by not throwing away wickets in the initial stages,the result would have been different.
But Congrats to Pakistan and thanks for some wonderful cricket in other matches.

Good Radiance, now it is time to learn and do the cleaning
Get rid of:
1) Hafeez, cannot play on bouncy tracks, cannot play fast bowlers, cannot play swinging ball, good against b grade team and their bowlers provided those bowlers do not move or turn or swing the ball.
2) Shoaib Malik, just tell him to f**k off... 3) Omer Gul, he cannot bowl any more... if experience is that important Razzaq is 10 time better than him. 4) Kamran akmal, don't know what he did to get selected to start with
Above are mandatory changes... if Pakistan want to feel any chance for next world cup.
only god knows what was malik doing in this team..he was so embarrassed with his own presence
i agree with your comments but we have a bigger problem
after 25 years I have come to conclusion that somehow our cricketers especially the newer generation (post 1990) are mentally not very strong ..........there is really no cure to this problem and now this cancer is spreading to our bowling as well.....
I mean, every team got bad days in this tournament but if you look at our performance today, it was not a bad day in office only....we lost it completely out of panic.....we were in complete control till 16 overs...complete control but then....look at their faces and body language after it....it was embarrassing when they came out to bat

Full credit to Windies for turning things upside down for last few overs, those couple of overs just summed up T20 cricket for a rookie, but honestly at this level, there's simply no excuse for Pakistan acting so bloody shell shocked and hopelessly demoralised and defeated when they came back to the crease. 167 was a competitive score, absolutely. Nothing was lost. So really their defeatist attitude is unforgivable.
I see no place for people like Hafeez and Malik in T20 cricket, hitting boundaries is one thing but these guys when under pressure cannot take standard singles to save their lives, let alone rescue the team.

Mohammad Hafeez: "This wasn't the best of performance from Pakistan. We didn't play well in the final four overs, credit to West Indies. In the first 16 overs we bowled very well, but they got the momentum in the final four overs. We were a little bit panicked early in the chase." Hafeez thanks the fans for their support, and apologises for not putting on a better show. He also says he would have wanted to bat first.

things that really surprised me were:
-Pakistan in complete control of the game until 16th over and then completely losing it.
-FOUR players getting stumped by the wicketkeeper.
-Ajmal giving away 24 RUNS in his last over...3 more runs than Gul

this is good for Pak cricket. If we win while not deserving, we will continue to includes sifarshis like Malik and Kamran in the team.
The team is pretty much on right track of rebuilding after the departure of Younis, Yousuf, Asif and Amir. All we need to do is select the right people for the job.
With Sharjeel, Sohaib, Shehzad and Akmal, we have a decent team for ODI. Just need to find another Shehzad/Sharjeel to bat on No. 3 (prof should be gone). Make Afridi T20 captain and give Anwar Ali or another allrounder a chance for T20/ODI. Gull is done and he needs some long rest.
