Wed 19 Pakistan v West Indies Brisbane Cricket Ground. This match will be interesting to watch. If pakistan doesnt mess up, I am pretty sure that Indies will be easy to take down. But again we are the most unpredictable team in the world. The match will start on Tuesday the 18th at 7:00 PM EST ( US & Canada ).
I really hope that they will let Hameed Play. I can’t believe that they played with hafeez instead of Hameed. I mean honestly, if we had played Hameed instead of Hafeez this match was in our pocket.
Also, though Akmal is very enthusiastic, but Younis khan is much more of a fighting player. His wicket keeping might not be as good as Akmal, but its not all that bad either.
I was just saying to my friend the other day that in the last ODI, if it was Ricky ponting instead of Inzi around the 30-35 mark, he would have made such aggressive changes in the field that Lehman would have gone after facing couple of overs. But oh well, its inzi we are talking about..

Apparently its pretty clear to the cricket world that Pakistan bowling does not have the strenght or that killer instinct to finish it off when fielding 2nd like they use to have. and I am sure this is what the W-I and lara will do.

Haan Yaar, Bola Tou Aaap Naye Sahi Haye. They are the biggest ‘Pocket-Marr’. You know the biggest thing I hate about them is the fact that no matter what happens, at least ONE of their batsmen score’s big. They whole batting line of Aussies can flop, ( yet to happen ) but there is always ONE that sticks around and delivers. e.g Michael Clark in the last match…

I am prepared to see Akmal open again. I believe Bob is willing to try Younis as an opener but Inzimam isnt and that is why he is hoping Kamran will click and for Pakistan's sake I hope so too. Only change that 'might' happen is that Hafeez might be dropped and some bowler brought in.
The bigger problem for Pakistan is the bowling thats why Hafeez is being played and not a specialist bowler.
^ I agree with you on this, but he won't get too many chances for "opening". If he doesn't perform in today's match, then he'd be sent down the order again where he belongs in "current" team otherwise might be replaced by Younis Khan later on for ODIs.
COuld it be because Inzi feels threaten after Imran Khan's comments on how Yunis would make a better captain than Inzi?. I think Yunis is way better than Hafeez.
Younis definitely is better in batting than Hafeez. There might a problem b/w Inzi and Bob about keeper as I heard that Bob wants Younis to be keeper, and if Younis does perform well behind wickets than surely he will become captain sooner than later (might have to go thru VC with Youhanna as C for a lil while though).
I have said it before and will repeat that this Kamran guy needs to be kicked out from the team right now. If we have to play a mediocre keeper, why not play Taufeeq or Younis, who know batting more than this moron.
They should recall Kaneria for the VB Series. Whose brilliant idea was it to send Kaneria back? He is the only bowler who can actually take wickets.
Play either Razzler or Razzaq. With Akhtar, Rana, Kaneria and Afridi we don't have a bad bowling attack against any team. All bets are off when we play Aus, though.
