Despite of its bad bowling, UAE could have restricted pakistan well under 300 had they did okish fielding.
Something Pakistan management still need to look in to, scoreing big scores is a must in this world cup especially against big teams.

Given the acute shortage of decent batsmen in the country, PCB should probably persuade Sialkot-born Shaiman Anwar to return and play for Pakistan with scores of 67 (Zimbabwe), 106 (Ireland), 35 (India) and 59*(Pak) in this tournament so far :)

As much as I respect Misbah as a player and captain, this is just plain stupidity on his part. Why would you keep backing a player who's an absolute disgrace to the whole country with his useless batting and club level fielding.
Misbah needs to man up and make some difficult decisions. Get Sarfraz in the team and tell Haris he is opening the innings. Enough is enough. The worst part is, Nasir might score decently against UAE out of all teams which will guarantee him a spot for the game against SA and he will be sitting duck against the the likes Styen/Abbot/Morkel.
I think that they stuck with Jamshed for this match ONLY because Shahryar Khan made a statement that Pakistan should drop Jamshed for the next match. First board chairman has to keep it shut (I am surprised SYK did so cuz he normally is a good diplomat).

no intensity, defensive field settings. Can someone please tell Misbah to just be aggressive. UAE will be looking to bat out the overs and Pakistan needs to make sure they don't do. NRR is going to be important later.
