Faisalabad is historically a bowler’s graveyard…(just like Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Karachi, Lalukhet…)

(1) Recommend Ganguly and Agarkar be dumped…

(2) Recommend India play with 11 batsmen…(with 3 openers as Gavaskar has suggested). The bowling of Tendulkar/Yuvraj/Sehwag will be as effective(or as ineffective) as the regular bowlers…so why not just strengthen the batting.

(3) Recommend that if India bats first, they should just attempt to bat all of 5 days and never declare…this would give our batsmen practice and wear out the Pak bowlers.(and teach them a valuable lesson about the consequences of preparing dead pitches)

Other suggestions welcome.

I don’t believe in this bullcrap commentator words like “bowlers graveyard” or “placid pitch” or “sporting wicket” these are just words used to justify one side’s performance and other sides failures.

Of course you don’t since it was Pak who scored those 700 runs in less than 2 days. When great batsmen like Kamran Akmal and Afridi score run-a-ball centuries in Perth, I would like to hear about it.

When they score centuries in Perth, it will be a different day, different team, different (better) bowling attack and different time. ;)

Those words are yout best friends these days, use them wisely.

it happens didnt India post an awsome score last time they played in Multan… and not all wickets in Pakistan are same, Karachi wicket produce results much like indian cricket grounds or are they dead like dodo too :stuck_out_tongue:

India used their lame excuse of security and didnt wanna play in Peshawar otherwise they would have got their “wish” come true of bouncy bouncy :wink: wickets

Ehsan bhai and Saby, I only have one recommendation.
Since the primary purpose of this thread is not to discuss the 2nd test, but just to make fun, because the 1st test is still in progress. And as Acrobi said kay Some 1 has lost his sanity, there fore there is no sense of discussion here in this thread.

I don't really get what is with all the huss about dead pitches, Pakistan beat a very good English team on these same dead tracks with our fast bowlers.
Good teams don't need helping conditions to win games, Pakistan can still win the 1st test.
