The only thing of interest left in this match is whether Ganguly will bat and score more than 39 so FG can do what he promised. So lads let's all root for Gangs to make at least 40 tomorrow. :D

On a day when he bulldozed past several batting records, Virender Sehwag has said that Shoaib Akthar, Pakistan's strike bowler, "hasn't lived up to expectations". Despite the fantastic partnership he shared with Rahul Dravid, he unequivocally stated that a long-term stance of opening with Dravid wasn't an option and confirmed that would be an arrangement adopted "once in a while".

"We didn't lose a wicket in our innings and that must tell you something about their bowling," he said at the post-match press conference. "Shoaib didn't get a wicket and he hasn't lived up to expectations." Sehwag was candid in his response when asked to compare the two attacks: "At least we got seven wickets, they haven't got even one."

Commenting that a result-oriented surface would have been a better idea, Sehwag said that India were prepared to play on any kind of pitch. "Pakistan probably didn't want to prepare seaming tracks," he said, "and thought that their bowlers will get us out on flat, hard wickets. But we fought back well and are ready to play on any sort of track. It's not a good wicket for a Test match and if we have to play a drawn series, there is no use coming here. I don't think it will produce a result and tomorrow will be more like batting practice."

Lets not gorget this statement of sehwag. I have a feeling that, if it was collingwordd for Pak/England series, who made a joke of himself, than it will be sehwag this time. Some one should go to him and explain him what he accidently discharged out of his mouth as it may haunt him big time at the end of the series.

He is smart and chose to brag after smashing Pakistani bowlers all over the park. Unlike many others who brag first and then get whacked all over the park. This is 2nd time it happened to that Individual. ;)

Even if he fails in next 2 matches, he will still be averaging 90 against Pakistan.
One thing many pakistani guppies must learn from Indian cricketter and fan on this forum is that Brag ** after the performance**. If you have noticed, so many guppies went too far in condemning Indian bowlers during first 2 days of this match. Now they all disappeared.

Search on cricinfo(i don't have time) and it was mentioned that shoaib said that on a pakistani tv show.
And i think u are suffering from a bigger disease called India-phobia, u jump up and down like a yoyo bragging even b4 the game has started,and just can't handle it if someone else rubs it in. baki vi gharon khedan aaye ne .

Janab-e-alee, agar aap apni argument kay saath proof nahin dey saktey hain to khul kar saaf saaf bata dee jiyey, is mein "fazool time nahin hai" aur "typical response" jaisey jawabaat deney ki takleef nahin karein. Aapko jub bhi fursat miley, aaram sey, koi jaldi nahin hai, to zara baray-e-meharbani apney qeemti waqat mein sey paanch minute nikaal kar hum jaisey "fazool logon" kay samnay Shoaib Akhtar ka article paish kar dee jiyey gaa. Umeedon kay saath rawana kar raha hoon aapko. Insha-Allah kamayaabi aapkay qadam choomey gee.
