Who will open for Indians. They are neither playing Ghambir nor Waseem Jaffar. Is it going to be Sehwag and Ganguly, or is Chapell going to experiment with either Dhoni or Pathan? I think its pretty unfair to ask a wicket keeper to open in a test match, since he is bound to be extremely tired after keeping wickets for an entire test innings.

well strange team for Pakistan, yes it gives you long batting but then again your strength = bowling is weak

Very defensive team selection by pakistanis. Only 3 regular bowlers and part timers. One would thing paksitan would go agressive and try to draw first blood

According to Cricinfo there is no Sami, according to the TV there is no Razzaq.

I disagree. I think its a very expected team from Pakistan. You have to remember that Razzaq is primarily a fast bowler who has developed his batting to be considered an all-rounder. So I always count him as a bowler first. That means, Pakistan is playing with 3 fast bowlers and 3 spinners i.e. Akhtar, Rana, Razzaq, Kaneria, Malik and Afridi. Great bowling attack. The only one we are missing is Sami, and we all know how consistent and reliable he is.

Younis Khan in to replace Salman Butt. Too bad for Pakistan Butt looked to be in good touch. Pakistan would be dissapointed with the start. India gets the early breakthrough.

I wouldnot count Razzaq and Malik as a test quality bowler. But whatever rocks your boat. :D
