ok i am not here to pass judgment on who knows cricket and who doesnt. There are different veriety of spin bowling one can use. heard of offspin, legspin and left arm spin.I havent seen India win matches with their super fast bowlers.:)

I consider Agarkar a half-bowler and Ganguly a half-batsman (esp to the strong pace attack Pak has).
Looking at the make up of the team, it just looks like a desperate attempt to somehow include Ganguly even if it came at the cost of a regular opener.
My side would have been :
Agarkar out <=> Zaheer in
Ganguly out <=> Waseem Jaffer/Parthiv Patel in
(yes I think Patel would score more runs than Ganguly as an opener)
This way you have 11 “full” players unlike the team now which includes 2 “half” players…
