Pakistan would want to get the Norths - bowled out as quickly as possible so that the bastmen can get more batting practice before the next test match - especially the opening dumbos.

If he takes another couple of wickets in the innings then his place in the side is guranteed. 
If the captain was strong enough and confident enough then the likes of Akhtar Ayub and Jamshed Ahmed could have been called - whom seem to have more potential and look better prospects then the likes of Niazi and Rao.

This is good what pakistan are doing...whoever performs in this match will be in the 2nd test...this is exactly what I wanted. Expirmenting in practice matches rather than one the actual day
