No I am not Inzy in disguise or otherwise though I have a passion for things aloo. Spongy soft wet is different from hard wet. Ok, now I got it.
The question is, if you knew well enough of the conditions at night with all the dew and wetness, why the hell did you choose to bat? I thought we were chasing well enough in the series. Also, with us, as soon as a couple of wickets falls, like someone said, we go back in our shells,,, if we were chasing, we,d have a much better idea of when to get back in our shells... and imagine the ease in batting, if we were playing at night, with those indian bowlers having to bowl with a damp ball. I think it was a pretty wrong decision. No homework done by the pakistanis. And them shabbir and afridi need to be shot! I,m more pissed off at shabbir though, cos it was expected of afridi anyway, but this shabbir guy, I reckon he cost us the match. kick him out until he fixes his runup up. And when the hell will this bloody inzamam realize that wen ur only hope of winning is to get a wicket, you dont save boundaries then,,, hes bowling sami and shoaib, desparately to get a wicket, and his field is all defensive! where the hell are your slips?! we were discussing this when the match was in progress and guess what, the next bloody over, the balls is flying to the boundary off an edge through the first slip!
Another stupid decision was when india were 4 down and yuvraj and dravid were both new on the crease,,, and this idiot starts bowling shoaib maliks and razaqs,,, IF i was there, i,d keep my 2 slips in and go for the kill with sami shoaib and shabbir,,, OR, i,d use afridi before shoaib malik, wen the batsmen are very new, cos afridi is a much more attacking bowler than malik. He allows the batsmen to settle in well, and then brings in afridi who gets thrashed....
aghhh,,, oh well i can do all the whinging and whining... but the bottom line is,,, despite all our blunders and fukups, all the noballs and dropped catches,we are losing them all on the drawing board/leadership. IF miandad cannot advise them sitting outside, hes simply not good enough. These people dont know how to attack.
wides, noballs, catches, fielding, bowling changes, field placements... Everything sucked. I,ll say it again,,, even the matches we won, we never won anything convincingly.... Gave away too many chances to the opposition to bounce back. If we were playing australia, this wouldv been an easy cleansweep 5-0 ... wake the fk up!
Pakistanis should be thankful to Rahul who i believe has ruled out the possibility of Inzamam to be banned from games - poor Inzi - in both games he played superb but couldn't get a win!
i am true believer now in Rahul - time and time he has done it again in crunch games.

Captain1, you ended up with 294 runs - almost 6 asking rate. That is not a defensive batting result.
What about score in 1st ODI? or 2nd ODI? Run rate of 6 could be out of reach if its not a batting paradise, but you saw it that it was a batting pitch. When you have opponent who is just waiting to blast the ball at will then you've got to be more aggressive and give them tougher target.
Xtreme, even if we figure out that we can't bowl with a wet ball and let Indians do it but then we find out that they CAN bowl with a wet ball? It wouldn't really be rewarding if we find out if we can do it or not. What would be rewarding is our bowlers mainting "SOME" line and length which is nagging enough for the batsmen instead of trying to beat him using pace and pitch it all over the place.

If India wins this match how many of you will agree that it was preplanned to be a 2-2 till the final game?
yeah, i agree otherwise it would have been 4-0 in favor of india. Good call FF. :p
One thing I don’t understand, you guys say now that it was the bowling of pakistan. Have you thought about that maybe speed kills as well, the risk parameters are a lot higher I believe. Also, they are not bowling at an empty wickets, you have probably the best batting line up in the world out there. Why act so surprised? Pakistan didn’t lose this match they were beaten…just like India got beat the last two match.
dew shew..you are telling me that Paistani people don’t know the conditions in their own land? they haven’t played cricket before in lahore at night? Imran khan lambasted Inzi after the first ODI for not batting first. what kind of 20/20 hindsight idiocy is tha?? If Pak would have won he would shut his gay trap.
And to those who are lamenting tendy, viru and Lax; these guys took on the best bowling perhaps int eh world and put forth a blistering run pace which allowed the latter guys to take sensible shots. Indian batting won this game today. pakistani bowling didn’t lose it.
Dew, wides, no balls what have you..were the pakistani bowlers scared of indian batting to not concentrate? nervous perhaps??
excuses excuses…there are plenty..on to the next one.
God Bless the USA..greetings from Mumbai ![]()

Yup you are right Tendi's 7 runs, Viru's 26 and Laxman's 20 were the blistering run pace set by these guys.
The 70 odd scored by Dravid and Kaif each would never have materialised if these three had not set such a blistering pace with such huge scores.
Having said that in the final analysis Indian batting won the match but it was Dravid and Kaif who won it and not the other three.

The first ODI in Karachi was not a D/N match so conditions are the same for both teams. In that situation it makes sense to bat first so Imran was absolutely right.
You are right about us not knowing the conditions in our own country though. I said the same thing. We were clearly struggling to bowl with a wet ball and that's taking nothing away from the Indian batting. Like I said earlier ther Pak think tank better decide whether they can bowl with a wet bowl or not because the next match is being played under lights as well.
As for the speed kills factor, yes it can prove expensive but at the same time it's what gets rid of class acts like Tendulkar and Laxman. Somehow I don't think Tendulkar and the likes will be too bothered if we replace our pace bowlers with a couple of medium pace trundlers.
- man i’m so
@ pak bowlers, especially shabbira who gave away 36+ runs in his 1st 3/4 overs, if we r working on our extras in the nets like minadad says so then y can’t we do it on the pitch!!!
we made a poor start to our batting but inzi’ played 1 of the innings of his life, a truely knock of a genious at work topped of with brill’ shots all over the ground and we posted a reasonable and DEFENDABLE score, y the hell did we bowl so pathetically, shoabi, sami, shabbir were very poor ok we had them reeling at 94/4 and then again @ 162/5 how in god’s name did they still manage to win!!!
i say congrats’ to our bowlers for handing over the victory to the indians, shabash guys nevert learn ur lesson, create world record for exrtas the next time around!!!

i hope afridi is dropped for the final rubber, he has shown that he is only a tukkey-baaz who will never change his approach so he deserves no place in the team with the way he plays, he puts our batsmen under pressure by always giving away his wicket at the start of the innings, he only gets going once every 10+ odi knocks and that ain’t good enough!!!
i hope he is dropped for taufeeq umar, and i hope saqi replaces shoaib malik who has disappointed with the ball and bat, during the 4th odi ishaoib malik couldn’t even spin the ball properly never mind the dew et cetera, u have to learn to adapt to the conditions, saqi’ is better spinner of the ball than shoaib malik, he should be replaced.
times like this really remind of waqar younis the living legend, he can still do a job for us, his fitness and form ain’t the prob’ its some certain pcb members and their personal vendetta’s against him ![]()
hopefully we will win the toss and guess what? we will bowl first.
Seriously u need to get ur Cricket knowldge or IQ straigtened out. ODI's are all abt playing ur shots and being aggresive.. Agreed India only needed 5-6 runs an over, but still u can't ask a batsmen to change the way they play. Now I don't want to start a debate abt who's better than Afridi or not, everyone knows I think regarding that..Sehwag didn't moved his feet, VVS is a completely different case. He shouln't be playing first of all as he doesn't deserves a place. He's only good playing Australia, accept it. Moreover he got out playing cross batted short. Gangs didn't moved his feet either..

Do not agree. Did you see the moron shots by shewag, vvs and ganguly? I will even include yuvraj - i mean where was the need to try and clear the midfielder when all you need is 4 runs an over?? these guys are worse than afridi, who played very well in the 2nd odi.
