Pakistan V India - 1st Test Match.

Inshallah we will win the next two tests.
thats the spirit Akbar bahi

:jhanda:

The only way that will happen is if we prepare a pitch with some grass on it and hope our pace bowlers bowl better than theirs. If we get another wicket like this one we can hand the trophy over right now.

India on brink of historic win](Yahoo is part of the Yahoo family of brands.)

MULTAN, Pakistan (Reuters) - Leg-spinner Anil Kumble has grabbed six wickets to take India to the verge of their maiden test victory on Pakistani soil.

The 33-year-old leg-spinner, who had picked up all 10 Pakistani second innings wickets in New Delhi in 1999, grabbed his 24th five-wicket haul on Wednesday as Pakistan, needing 268 to avoid an innings defeat, were 207 for nine on the fourth day.

Yousuf Youhana was batting on a fighting 107, his 11th test century, with last man Shabbir Ahmed on nought.

India have not won any of their previous 20 tests in Pakistan, losing five and drawing 15.

Left-arm paceman Irfan Pathan had done the damage earlier on Wednesday, picking up a career-best four for 100 in only his third test to end Pakistan’s first innings on 407 to ensure India could enforce the follow-on.

The tourists had amassed 675 for five in their first innings, Virender Sehwag slamming a record 309 and leading batsman Sachin Tendulkar adding an unbeaten 194.

India are playing their first test in Pakistan in over 14 years after a recent thaw in relations between the two south Asian neighbours, who have fought three wars against each other.

dil ke armaan ansoon mai beh gaye :(

** * youhana :dhimpak: gr8 knock only it’ll make no difference to the outcome of the match, we lost the match on the 1st day, giving away 350+ runs only on day 1 with 2 wicket to show for our efforts on day 1, simply not good enough :nono:

today our batsmen bar youhana played kambal very poorly, wat’s the need to show so much pad and sticking the bat behind the pad, defend the ball with a straight bat not pad, :smack2: like shoaibi and yousi’ were doing near the end of play day 4 :smack2: no wonder all the lbw’s were a easy option today.

it isn’t good blaming the pitch realistically speaking, if indian bowlers can cope with the pitch and bowl us out twice nearly why can’t shoaibi+sami and co’ do the same, its’ easy for inzi’ to blame groundsman andy atkinson when our bowlers bowled poorly on day 1 and onwards + a few selection decisions contributed to this likely defeat that pak face tomorrow.

:insha: we’ll re-group and come back hard @ the indians and win the next two tests + the series, its’ bad enough we have just about let them win their first test match on paki soil since 1952, losing the series will take the cake.

^^
That innings defeat was in New Delhi in Pakistan's first ever test match. Pakistan never lost to India on home soil. This would be their first defeat.

  • i know the bit in BOLD *

Well played Youhana:hula:

and ofcourse Shabbir Ahmed

Pakistan has become the West Indies of cricket. India have a professional team and ours look like a bunch of amateurs. Defeat is oozing from our body language since day 1. What a bunch of losers. I think we should boycott cricket for at least 10 years since we have no future there.

And we thought the innings defeat by Australia was because of lack of experienced batsmen. Now we have great batsmen, with "one of the best bowling" line up, and still an innings defeat. Ha ha.

Shame on our batsmen, they couldn't show any spine after the first failure.

I hope and pray that our management now realises how deadly it is to provide batting pitches to opponents.

All such “historical records” are now really “history”. This “historical visit” is bound to break all such records, is there any more record that India needs to break? :crying:

And the historical thread which you opened for the first test match has resulted in Paksitan getting well and truly thrashed by the Indians. I dont think we should allow you to open such important threads again.

:crying:

Can you delete the thread? :expressionless:

^ Too late now the damage has been done.

Ehsan bhai, allow me… My threads bring good luck naa :D, often result in pakistan’s victory

hey, now there’s an idea.

hmm.. tempting…

**This happend when paindonize a good sports like cricket.

My dream is coming true..PAKSITAN must lose miserably that is the only way things will be different in the future.

Someone needs to spank PCB....for such a sucky & crappy performance from Top to Bottom.
What a bunch of mediocre players who can't even perform at the home..... Losers** :)

You mean to “restart” the “rebuilding” stuff? Only if bloody Amir had kept his cool and away from politics we were going in right direction. Then comes Wasim Bari and deletes half the work done by bringing player like Afridi due to “past reputations”. I am sure Waqar Younis will make a come back as well. Anything can be expected. May be they’ll try to convince Wasim out of retirement as well

Deleting this thread is a great idea.

If you are really serious, I can derail the thread and you can blame it on me. :p
