It also proves that stabilizers ((Hafeez, Malik, Asad, Misbah (in the past)) have a role to play even in a format like T20. You don’t need all big hitters

Agreed. Malik in particular is great stabiliser and so is Asad and Misbah. With Malik there I was confident we will win if he stays to the end and we did.

her baat pe afridi ko zaror lana he came in the last over, wht were you expecting han still he scored 2 runs on 1 ball n then gave strike to malik, at least he was better than k akmal, who came there just to waste balls

Uncle I told you that M Irfan will play and he bowled superbly he has improved alot

I know he's just had one good performance but I would take Irfan (he's 30 already!) to South Africa. He impressed with his pace and accuracy plus he's tall and pitches will assist him a lot more in SA. Besides he's aggressive. He likes to give it back to the batsmen which guys like Gul & Tanvir don't do.
His fitness (stamina in tests) might be an issue. Frankly can't see many other (domestic) fast bowlers that are better than him presently
It's a shame that he's not included in the ODI squad

Irfan surprisingly impressed me a lot in this match. Will wait and see if he carries on like this. His pace and bounce was amazing and even a batsmen of Kohli's stature found it difficult to handle him. Now that is saying something.
