See thats why I’m strongly in favor of inconsistent seniors to let go. For example if you try 4 youngsters (or new players so as to say) and 3 of them are flop, you still get 1 gem and that can serve for longer time.
However if there is a consistent senior like Misbah, he ofcourse will keep his place as long as he keeps performing. This old school methodology of not breaking winning combinations or keeping someone in the team just cuz they scored two series back is ridiculously outdated and should be thrown out rightaway.
