Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

100 runs target would be enough for England

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

First erase the lead which is 29 runs...to avoid an innings defeat...

It wasn't an easy session..a couple chances for Aamer. dropped catch and a runout.

One thing is for sure. Kami's job is in trouble. There is no reason why Haider should not get a chance in the 3rd Test. The other two newcomers need to learn how to concentrate from Haider's innings. Their wickets were nothing but sloppy shots.

While GS was offline good things have happened. Zulqi 88 IDONE 50 and Pakistan lead by 112. Lets keep GS offline for another 4 hrs in the morning tomorrow

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Pakistan finished the day on 291/9 a lead of 112 runs. Hats off to Haider for his 88 and Ajmal for his 50. Puts our openers and top batsmen to shame.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

**Thank God GS is back !

Awesome performance by Ajmal and Zulqarnain Haider Masha’Allah
Well, didn’t expected that much from Pakistan
Awesome batting and I just hooope they won’t lose a wicket tomorow.

And they won’t drop a single cacth :jhanda:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

I already like Zulqarnain, what a guy, good temperament, good shot selection, some of the drives were really good :k:

Ajmal’s 50 was awesome too, some of his pull shots would put many of our batsmen to shame.

Great fighting spirit shown by lower order :k:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

ZH put up a great fight. the top order batsmen ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Another 30-40 runs and Pakistan can get England under pressure. In any case, hats off to Zoni, Ajmal and Amir. Especially because they are getting wickets and batting too. Shame on our top order so called batsmen.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Good performance by the lower order once again. Another good 50 run partnership by the last 2 and who know's chasing down 200 runs may not be that easy.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Like Wasim Akram said in some article in Dawn...Pakistan cricket need a real coach...especially for the batting...he proposed Miandad...but...Butt?...hmmmmmmm

PS: The good news ia that...our lower order can bat well when its needed... :)

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Ajmal U rock baby :hbk:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

I don’t think so…the pitch is wearing out…something dramatic should happen for Pakistan victory…the defeat is certain…but not by an innings…by some X number of wickets…

PS: I hope…Pakistan current squad will grow up in this series…and will try its best to minimize the damage already done by wrong decisions…misfielding & batting collapses… :jhanda:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Yeah...he has to take wickets and catches too on his own bowling...plus also score for Pakistan...he must be rocking like a crazy...poor Ajmal (the potentail next captain) guy...lol

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

His expression after making 50 was great …

n Gul wow man i respect him more now coming to play with hamstring was great too see

Go Pak GO

:jhanda:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

IT was like when warne got kallis out in the world cup semi. Pumped up the whole team. Man I loved the same by a paki batter

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Yup indeed it pumped up all the team

Now i hope Gul scores 30 40 useful runs :jhanda:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Luved also that expression. Jee oye cheeteya :@:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Lets see…whether Asif & Gul can break their own test scores records tomorrow…may be I am asking too much…but the pitch is becoming friendly for the lower order…lol

PS: Gul & Asif can stay on the crease before or till the lunch if they choose to play the right shots…only play & hit with caution the bad balls…and leave the rests…hmmmmmmmmmm… :jhanda:
