/\ Keep hitting & making some runs (with caution while not throwing or gifting wickets away)...playing plenty of dotballs only raises the confidence of bowlers...
PS: Pakistan can win from any team around the world at will...but they should come up with right things at the right time...we are not that bad anyways...but funny at times...hmmmmmmmmmmm
I have a belief that Pakistan have good talents...if they are guided by the right management/strategists/tacticians/good coaching...this present squad can win from any team around the world under all conditions and decisions...this man can guarantee you!

After the sitter drop by umar amin i thought cant be easiest then this but butt proved me wrong by dropping a dolly..
Imagine our fielders catching the ball engliand would have been gone for 150 and in our batsman score 20 a piece it is 220 which is enough for the talented bowling line up
Once again our bowlers have brought us back in the game. Ajmal was superb and showed exactly the kind of support our fasties were lacking... Kaneria was crap and has been that for a while.
Salman Butt seems to be suffering from captaincy syndrome. He seems too nervous on the crease which was not the case till first test against australia.
Lets hope remaining batsmen save us an innings defeat. I dont expect a win, but I hope for some fight from them rather than a meek surrender.
tsk tsk. Such is the condition of this provincial cricket team that people are happy that it is not defeated at least in the worst imaginable way. Such positive thinking. Way to go.
This reminds me of a match between Pak and Srilanka, when Jayasuriya was hitting 4 to 5 sixes in every over by every Pakistani bowler. One of those bowlers had a couple of overs where only 3 of his balls were hit for sixes, and people were saying ooh, look at Aaqib, he only had 3 sixes in his over, great bowling!
haha.
Please get over this Karachi, Lahore nonsense. It is like sweeping the real issue under the carpet. We are facing a batting crisis right now (see my post below). Fawad Alam or Hassan Raza etc. w’d not have made a huge difference here
And while you are at it can you mention the name of the next emerging batting talent from Karachi…the next ’ Miandad’ or ‘Zaheer.’ In the present desperate times I w’d gladly take someone even 25% as good as them.

I don't want to search for any names. But let's say that some lads from Karachi are given a chance and they fail as miserably as current provincial team. In this case it will be proven for sure that we ARE having a batting crisis.
This claim of batting crisis can not be made if almost all the failed batting line-up is from a single CITY, let alone the province or country.
All this proves is that the selection process is very biased. This is the root cause of the problem.
If you don't like Karachi-Lahore talk then make sure there is no reason to raise this issue. If this discussion is bitter then try solving the problem instead of shooting the messenger.

We need a batting revolution

We need to first come out of Lahore, and try batsmen from around the country, before talking about revolution and stuff.
I did not accuse anyone. I am only looking at the results.
And if this selection process continues then people like me will disown Pakistan cricket team. Because to me it doesn't represent the country.
To make it better for you Mr. moderator, I won't be coming to this cricket section anymore. Then you can have all nice and dandy discussions all you want. :)
