**sore losers!

**ENGLAND’S physio and fielding coaches have become key figures in the team’s attempts to score runs off Saeed Ajmal.

The unlikely duo of Ben Langley and Richard Halsall have discovered they can replicate the Pakistan mystery spinner’s baffling ‘doosra’ delivery in the nets.

But they can do it only by blatantly throwing the ball. Many of the England camp privately believe Ajmal, who took 10 wickets in the First Test, throws his doosra anyway.

Vice-captain Alastair Cook revealed: "Our physio is good at throwing a doosra — he can land it well and so can Halsall.

“Ajmal was the stand-out player last week — we must now all have our own game-plans.”

Re: Pakistan v England 2nd Test - 25-29 January 2012

Toss: Pakistan have opted to bat first. One change, Junaid Khan comes in for Aizaz Cheema. Strauss said that he too would have batted first. Monty Panesar comes in for the homeward-bound Chris Tremlett.

Re: Pakistan v England 2nd Test - 25-29 January 2012

  • So no five bowlers for England as a few may have suspected. That means Steven Finn will have to sit out again. There was talk yesterday that he could be the man replacing Tremlett. *
  • This is the first time England have played two spinners in a four-man attack since December 2003. First for Panesar since the Cardiff Jailbreak of 2009.

*It is going to be Monty...his first bowl since the first Ashes Test of Cardiff 2009. Wasn't too effective in that match but did one hell of a job to save the match with the bat in that famous rearguard action with Anderson as the pair survived for 11 overs...But he's back with the ball now...
