yep, Rana didn't bowl any good today.... our fasties disappointed... I guess its because of the pitch .... batting pitch where our fasties just can't do anything.

Usually its 1 or 2 people winning games for us but todays game was a rare case of losing the game because of 2 people.

Looks like Pakistan will inshallah play the finals. If we did bat this good we can beat WI in the qualifying round.

I think there were more failures than Akhtar alone. Rana didn’t bowl well. Our opener (the joke) failed and the one down 
failed too. I can’t believe they didn’t play Yasir Hameed. I wish Razzaq had clicked with his blasting we could’ve 300+ on the scoreboard that’d definitely have pushed Australia under pressure.

If you play with only 2 specialist bowlers, and if one of which doesn't have a heart to bowl 3 consecutive overs, then that's the result one is expected to have...

we batted good? I don’t think so. Only 2 of our regular batsman played well Salman and Inzamam… our lotto Afridi also clicked so we had a decent score… if Razzaq had done his blasting we could’ve 300+… a decent score…
but as I said our opener and one down fell cheaply. Youhanna wasted so many balls. Inzi scoring 68 was a good sign.

actually Youhanna was not alone, so lets not put much blame on him except that he should've hung there and boosted run rate.

West Indian bowling is a joke(Never mind the ICC Champions Trophy Semi Final in horrible conditions). We will beat them easily. The problem is that Australia are unstoppable. Inzamam needs to do more thinking in the field. That period where he didn't bring the fielders in and kept giving singles made it a piece of halwa for the Aussies. Also, Lehmann was on strike after Razzaq's Martyn dismissal over was bowled, and Akhtar should have been brought in then. I don't know why he makes idiotic tactical errors like these.

Malik and youhanna contributed also. In the field everyone was very good. Everyone pretty much played their hearts out which is a good sign, but we need a victory very badly after the test series loss. I hope it comes against WI now.
Over all a pretty good performance against Australia. The sad part is that both the specialist bowlers (i consider Rana a specialist bowler also as i havent seen him perform well with bat soo far) failed.

Captain1, you need to watch more cricket. We freakin’ blasted 93 in the last 10 overs. We were playing against Australia. What more do you want? Keep quiet now.

gandi bowling. shoaib and rana. shoaib thinks he is the best and i think on the other hand, he is one of the most unreliable bowler. you cant rely on him or say that he can help win a macth. Wht abt Rana G, 7.5 runs/over. he doesnt have talent. Pakistan lost thematch due to poor bowling. 23 extras and bad captaincy by inzimama. i think we should get some players from india. we got no talent. there was a time when we could defend 180 runs coz we had the best bowling attack. now we got nothing. zimbawve and bangladesh has better bowlers than us.
keep azhar, keep razzaq, keep afridi and borrow some players from outside world. we are done. no talent in pakistan.

Actually he fell at an ideal time for Pakistan. That allowed Razzaq and Afridi ample time to blast away. I dont think our batting failed except for Akmal and Hafeez. We were quite okay. We bowled too many extra deliveries and of course Akhtar couldnt bowl well.

I wouldnt say our performance was what it should have been. Though Razzaq's bowling was a plus.
I would say that Akmal shouldnt have missed Lehmann's run out. He is not a consistent batsman that we know but at least do the job what you are supposed to.
Afridi, oh well. I am definately going to record highlights of his batting.
