I think the idiot was more upset that the Asian countries dared to turn down nomination of an Australian as VP for ICC. Who the hell does speed think he is. Isnt it ironic that his world beaters had their asses whipped by the basket case team. More humilation coming speed's way. The guy was pathetic as ICC president, more so now.

i dunno if theres as much substance to his remarks you attribute to him. Its more of a rant because his favoured nominee got rejected (and rightfully so). More of an anti-asia sentiment than anything about Pakistan.

The Pakistan Cricket Board chairman is a nominee of the president of the country - a political appointment. The incumbent is a buffoon and cricket in Pakistan is a basket case.

When these two countries come forward with their joint nominee, Australia and New Zealand should politely refrain from voting. But when Hair's blackmailing e-mails to the ICC became public knowledge, Speed (as ICC's chief executive) surprisingly was n't very interfering and infact did little to save Hair's job. Hair was unceremoniously removed from ICC's elite panel

Just because we won the two T20s does not mean all is right with PCB set-up. Ijaz Butt is a buffoon for sure, arguably the most undeserving PCB Chairman to date

I agree Ijaz Butt is a buffoon and has done untold damage to cricket in Paksitan. however, Speed was hardly concerned for Pakistan or Pakistan cricket when he made this statement, it was more out of jealousy, anger and arrogance.
