Gul is okay apparently and will play...although I dont see how thats such a big deal. Gul's performance as a test bowler has been pretty ordinary for quite a while.
The main worry is Aamer. Hope he's fit.

Pakistan pacer Umar Gul has survived an injury scare with doctors clearing him to play in the three-Test series in Australia.
Gul complained of severe knee pain.
Gul, whose career has been plagued by injuries, including an 18 months layoff from all form of cricket in 2004-2005 due to a stress fracture of the back, was examined by specialist doctors in Hobart and Melbourne before giving him clearance.
The local media had earlier reported that Gul was likely to be sent home because of the knee injury.
"The latest MRI scan was more conclusive and the injury is not a serious one," a PCB official said on Wednesday.
"He bowled for nearly two hours on Wednesday in the nets and the tour selectors are satisfied with his fitness," the spokesman.
He said there was no chance of Gul being sent back home because of his fitness problems.
"Reports that his injury is a serious one is not correct," he said.
Left-arm pacer Mohammad Aamer is also said to be suffering from illness problems and is not 100 per cent fit.
The first Test is due to begin from Saturday in Melbourne.
Sources in the board said that the tour selectors were concerned with Aamer's condition as the 17-year old had not been keeping well since the last Test in New Zealand.
Pakistani selectors have already sent fast bowler, Mohammad Sami to join the team in Australia.
Sami celebrates ODI call up with a six-wicket haul
Sami celebrated his call up to the national team in Australia with a fearsome burst of six wickets in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final as he prepared to fly out to Melbourne.
Sami, who has been recalled to the national team in a surprise decision, took six for 38 on Wednesday as his team Karachi Blues crushed the strong Habib Bank side by 141 runs in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final at the National stadium.
"It always helps to prepare for a tour of Australia with your confidence high. I am confident I can carry my good form into the Test series in Australia if I get a chance to play in Melbourne," Sami said.
Sami is the sixth player from the Indian Cricket League to be given another chance in the national team.
Sami said Pakistan had a good bowling line-up with some explosive performers and if they played to their potential they could beat Australia.
Sami said he enjoyed bowling Karachi to the Quaid Trophy final as Habib bank had some very top players.
"Getting Younus Khan's wicket was a big one as he is a class player who could have won the match for them if he had got set in."
