In the last two overs, Pak fielders missed two run out chances. One a poor throw to Amir from long off. Another was a ridiculous attempted double on a it to short fine leg. When Wade (who is no speedster) came back for the second run, there was NO ONE covering the stumps at batsman end. So the bowler Hasan scampered over. And stood in FRONT of the wicket. At the same time Wasim positioned himself correctly slightly behind the wicket. The throw was terrible. A weak throw away from wicket. Hasan moved to his right and could not collect ball. And Wasim was in perfect position. Wade would have been out by couple of feet. Hafeez dropped a sitter. None of this cost too many runs. But if this fielding continues…

Are they going to hold bowlers responsible for this? The universal truth for Pakistani team is that the batsmen are consistently bad down to their teeth. They drop catches first and then dont show up with bat.
It was the best chance Pakistan had against Aussies. You wont get both Warner and Smith out on two balls again, that too without scoring. Another whitewash coming.

In my view it should be Imad Wasim. He is a perfectly balanced player, most suited for limited overs.

Now a days 270 is at par score, it is like 170 of 80s and 90s but our batsman jave somehow stuck in that mentality thinking opposition have scored 250 or more than it is near to impossible to win…
Thats why Australia managed to score 268 from 75 -5 and Pakistan got all out at 170+ from 92-3

No point in following this pathetic excuse of an ODI team. We do not have a single attacking batsman who can consistently dominate bowling attacks. Sharjeel is hit or miss. Our ODI batting is a complete joke.
This was probably Pakistan’s best chance of at least running Australia close. The Aussies are unlikely to set us such a ‘modest’ target again.
I think this series is going the same way as the 2010 series in Australia when we lost every single game or 9-0 under Yousuf’s dull captaincy (3 tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20)

I always think an allrounder is usually a perfect captain. He may not be the best player but thats fine. I’ll take a young inexperienced over the other two old asses. Besides, how different a result can be?!
