if you need to fight terrorism, then dont you need to ‘do more’? on one hand you are accepting help from the US on the other you are slow and weak in your resolve to fight terror. to beat ‘terror’ in pakistan you will need to turn pakistan upside down!
and if you agree that there is a terror fight to be fought, why cant you accept the US request to completely erradicate it?
what deal do you want? in the other thread sargecandy posts a long list of very worldly benefits from the f16 deal, most have strategic importance for pakistan.
you are getiing money, weapons and other help. enough for for me to say pakistan/raw/cia/mossad bhai bhai. what else do you want, you are only fighting slipper wearing people in a far off corner of your country and acting as transport conduit for a war against slipper wearing villagers of a bordering country. its hardly high risk international war is it?
so what deal do you want, do you want an extra $$$100 million per week? will that satisfy you. what is the is the magic figure which will help drown out the fact that you have blood on your hands.
and if your war is righteous and you are doing this for yourselves, then why should the US give you anything? surely if you believe in your cause you will fight irrelevent of handouts!
