Pakistan have announced they will tour India in February 2005 to play three Tests and five one-day internationals.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’s chairman Shaharyar Khan said: "The Indian cricket board has agreed in principle to host us from 25 February.
“It will be a six-week tour with the Tests being played first. They have also agreed to tour Pakistan in 2006 in the same period for a return visit.”
It will be Pakistan’s first Test tour to India since early 1999.
Cricket ties resumed between the two neighbours in March this year when India broke a five-year deadlock and played five one-dayers and three Tests in Pakistan.
Khan said a one-day international would be staged in India on 13 November to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
thats good news!!! Hope the crowds behave properly and the Pakistani team is welcomed with same enthusiasm as Indian Team was welcomed in Pakistan...
and no crowd troubles please!!!
I hope Indian team does not go into the payback mode though!!!
india will kill pakistan. they r very good @ home infact so good that the australians' have tried and tried but failed for 35 odd years to beat them away.
but i hope we put up a better fight then we did against them @ home in the test series especially.

Looks like you were in baby cart during Pakistan tour of India in 1987 and have forgotten about Pakistan's tour of India in 1999

^ no bhai i was up and walking on my own 2 feet by 87’.
i haven’t forgotten the last 2 test match pak-ind series in india (1999) where anil kamble bowled the whole pak team out in 1 test and together with saqi {saqlain mushtaq} he was the highest wicket taker in the series with 22 wickets and saqi with 20. both bowled superbly and at a good strike rate.
but you have to consider the team that india are now compared to how they were performing @ test level against us in 1999. they have gone on great strides since then and the recent plastering that we {pak} received at home during the odi and test series was a reminder of how well team india has progressed.
so having considered these facts, i don’t think we have a high chance of returning the favour in style we might scrape the odi’s + tests {inshallah} or we could lose heavly in both {god forbid} still i feel india are odds on to turn on the heat @ home. {which they often do}
pathan for me is the main danger, even on flat tracks in pakistan he found good seam and swing movement so did nehra and not forgetting the legend balaji . our batsmen were left dazzled by pathan in tests especially so i hope they play him out better in 2005.
