LAHORE: The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) will start the Rs 1.2 million renovation of Krishna Mandir in Lahore next month, officials told Daily Times on Wednesday.
Faraz Abbas, the administrator of the ETPB, said the department has finalized a plan for the renovation of the temple.
He said the Hindu community of the province celebrated several religious events at this temple and had faced many problems due to the lack of a proper worship place and guest rooms for pilgrims.

Islam has given equal rights of living and welfare to both muslims & non-muslims of a Mulsim state. Its the duty of a muslim govt to provide better living conditions and religious freedom to non-mulims also. Open your eyes dear!

munnay, the mandir was damaged when? after demolition of Babri mosque that happened in 1991-2, why didn't they repair it in 1994,5,6,7,8,9 etc? why now? because the relations with Hindu majority neighbor are getting better, and in order to "boost" it further they needed to show that Pakistan is taking better care of its Hindus now.
I'm not saying we shouldn't repair it, we should've done it in 1992/3, and stop taking cheaper shots at the person debating it just shows how Bush (idiot) you are and how low you can get.
