The only easy match for Pakistan is against Scotland - other teams Canada, India and the Netherlands are stronger than Pakistan! I will be in the Olympic stadium on Sunday for two important matches - Pakistan vs India & England vs Argentina!

Pakistan hockey’s worst ever result in the history - lost 6-0 to Canada! It would have bee far better Pakistan would not have come to participate!
India will punish them on Sunday!

Hockey do not need miracles, it needs worthy players, it need PSL type league to procure players…
Few of current players do not know how to hold hockey sticks let alone play with it

One more thing is to revive the departmental hockey which encourages youths to go to hockey fields!

Most important need is to market the sport better and to pump more money into hockey in order to make it an attractive career option for youth. As things stand no sensible parents however supportive and sports-minded will encourage their children to take up hockey as a profession

Pakistan lost to Argentina 1-3 and now again meet India for 5-8 classification match tomorrow!

Pakistan finished 7th. Now they to finish 1st or 2nd in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh in October. Even a number 3 finishing would do for Pakistan provided India and Malaysia played the final at Dhaka as both of them qualified already.
