Pakistan to free 200 Indian fisherman
Officials in Pakistan say more than 200 Indian fisherman, imprisoned in recent months for straying into Pakistani territorial waters, are to be released.
They are expected to be freed from Karachi’s Landhi prison next week, in what correspondents say is a goodwill measure.
Both India and Pakistan routinely detain each others fishermen for crossing maritime borders.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Fisherman Co-operative Society said the men would have been released earlier had border tensions between India and Pakistan not escalated after the attack on parliament in Delhi in December last year.
and only in south asia fishermen goes to other country waters to get the fish, but sometime find themselves in the net and then in prison!

True... But you would think the fishermen would have wised up by now?!? Why do they even try if they now they will be arrested? They must have some serious death wish.
