I think that what novice is saying is that culture has changed and laws depend upon the culture of the society.
Gay marriage is not a big deal in the west and it is well within women’s rights to wear a miniskirt and pair it with see through tank top / shirt and still be “respectful”.

Islam is all about Mulla in Pakistan. They tell you what answers to these questions are. My argument is remove mulla from Islam first in our society. Make religion what it is a personal choice. No man or state should force it down another persons throat. Read quran and implement it on yourself. If it makes you a better enlightened human being and productive to the society - then great.
Unfortunately what we have seen is only Islam with no modern education makes you a fat mullah. Quran ka ratta lagatay hein and become parasites.

See for yourself product of ‘only Islam’ educated mullah, that I am talking about. We are raising these snakes in every mosque. There are millions of followers of these mullahs. One of these h@arami mullahs and Islamic followers just road blocked all of Islamabad and most of the country over changing a state law.
This is the face of ‘Islamic Pakistan’ that worries all who care - this was not the vision Quaid had for this country.

This is happening in Pakistan because from the beginning this country has been hijacked by filthy secular, brown skinned desi liberals who use these ignorant people in the guise of religion to serve their purpose. For example, Khadim Hussain Rizvi, the champion of swears and abuses has been used by Pakistan’s desi-Punjabi secular military establishment under Qamar Jawed Bajwa who was also accused to be a Qadiyani in disguise by a few circles.
Earlier militant Jihadists were also used by Pakistan’s Punjabi-military establishment to serve it as in creating Afghan Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Taibah (Jamatud Dawah), Jaish-e-Muhammad, Taliban etc.

Not sure what more can be discussed. I told you my reasons already. There is no agreement in Pakistan to make laws that are acceptable to all Muslims. Heck ask gupshup residents on the issues, I brought up. There won’t be an agreement in one household to these questions. Asking a country to make laws based on Islam - no matter how much you think is the right answer - is a foolish activity. Instead let’s focus on learning science and technology not on making more mullahs. So we have clean water and food for out of control population. Have some birth control so we have less malnourished dimwits like you to feed. Another issue where Islam interpretation will be counterproductive.
