I’m really not a fan of the warheads competition but with a hungry war-monger neighbor, Pakistan is bound to keep working on their defense to make sure they can survive from the jaws of aggressors. :k:

Re: Pakistan test fires Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Missile
Interesting. How so?
We need one working missile to have MAD. Why bother with mass producing them and testing them? Nukes are a deterrent. That doesn't mean we create multiple methods of detonating them.
The millions of rupees spent on making 1 of these missiles could have been better spent on health and education.

Well I agree with your last statement and thats exactly why i'm not in favour of these heavy defensive spendings.
But Pak's all defensive spendings are done keeping India's prep in focus. And i'm sure these guyz know what they are doing.
These missile tests amongst these two countries basically boils down to the childish and obscene game of who has the bigger dick. Of course in this case, the size is the size of the range, not of the missile.
Not sure that when Pakistan already has a 7000km range missile (can someone confirm please) and many short and medium range ones, then why do we need another one whose range is 1500 km
Re: Pakistan test fires Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Missile
Pakistan has a right to develop whatever satisfy it's needs. same is true for India NOT just because of Pakistan but also because of China.
i hope these toys are never used or else they will be wiped out as if they did NOT exist. if any part of the country can survive the mad nuclear attacks will be southern part of India...it's too far from Pakistan's reach.
i hope N pray that sanity will always prevail on both sides of the border. aameen
Re: Pakistan test fires Shaheen-II (Hatf-VI) Missile
Well a correction here, India has never attacked Pakistan, its Pakistan who has attacked India directly and with “non state actors”. Be it 48 or kargil its not India which showed war mongering.
Regarding last Indian missile test, its range was over 2000 km, it is not meant for Pakistan. Pakistan is well covered by older systems, the newer and bigger missiles are designed as strategic asset against much bigger neighbor i.e. China.
Pakistan is no longer a priority in Indian defence esteblishment since two governments ago.
Pakistan can develop, buy or acquire anything it wants, but i hope they use it only for their own national interests and use them with highest restraint.

Well they can use the technology and knowhow to lob its own satellites in space. Space is only 300 km away and any indigenous capability can save hundreds of millions in foreign exchange.
