this is a great article.. naive but at least a different viewpoint .. luv when people and observers think out of box and present something different than goddamn old historical viewpoints…
although i do wonder what wud have pakistan done without uncle sam’s economic help throughout its history…this uncle jee wud have vanished long time ago with his wheat and gas had we not received so much dollars from Sam…lol…but hey how conveniently he forgot to mention that!
and by the way, as early as 60s, we could not even produce enough wheat that this ucnle jee is so proud of and Uncle sam had to bail us out of a famine by sending us wheat as well…and in return we were hanging “thanks uncle sam” boards around our camels’ necks…but uncle jee forgot that as well..
i know it is painful to admit but the fact remains that pakistan started to beg pretty much from day one and still begging to this date!!! well now we have become so good at it that we have a begging bowl in one hand and a bomb in other hand…dey allah kay naam par warna bomb chala kay khud ko mar loon ga aur tum ko bee…deta ha kay nahieen…
may god help us…but despite all of my bak bak, uncle jee had made some fundamentally solid points that I never thought of…so great job. Had we done less corruption and managed this god forsaken country a bit better, wheat and gas drivers would have been way more pronounced and so forth although never to the extent that uncle jee want us to believe … following eighteenth century, for any country to move to the next level in the value chian, it has to move from agricultural base to industrial base.
par hamiree aisee qismat kahan..masses being the most corrupt ones aided quite ably by horrible rulers and if that was not enuf we imposed severe ideological diarrhea upon us from day one and then compounded the misery by employing some of the most bizarre religious narratives…there u go…classical recipe for disaster we got!
