Karachi win the toss and elect to bat…a must win for them to qualify for the next phase…
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Go zalmi beat Karachi, than Qalanders will stand a good chancce to qulify.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
One of the key difference between Kings and other teams is its captain's poor performance. Shoaib Malik hasnt performed in a single match and rather threw away his wicket in a ridiculous fashion at a critical time. It looks like he never actually put a serious effort. You cant win if your anchorman has a loser attitude.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
So wut all the Zulmi bowlers are doing is coming in a regular pace and dropping a dead slow delivery making it almost impossible for batters to hit. Kings batting is a complete failure. They stand no chance. They are actually putting up no effort wutsoever.
Let the better teams play in finals..
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Target for Zalmi is 153...pretty gettable... :D
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Zalmis looked in all sorts of trouble with RRR shooting up to 11 at one stage but Hodge's cameo literally turned this game around
Hodge 85* off 45 balls (6 4s and 6 6s), mainly dealing in boundaries. Not bad for a 41-year old!!
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
The most jazzed up team before the tournament started has fared badly and now awaits to see if Lahore loses to Islamabad for them to qualify. Zalmi rested so many players but still managed to win with Brad Hodge playing gem of an innings.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Qalandards chance (the next match) once again become alive as KK lose this match... :D
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Brad Hodge has got to be Australia’s most unlucky player in recent times
With such a decent domestic (first class average of almost 49 with 51 hundreds) and international record, should have played more tests for Australia. But unfortunately for him, his best years clashed with Australian cricket’s most dominant era when they had the likes of Ponting, Hayden, Martyn and Gilchrist & it was hard for him to find a regular place (in the all-conquering Aussie side from1999 to 2007).
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Afridi shows his ghatiya level again. keep running and hit bilawal with bat and gloves even after umpire gives him out, pathetic sportsman.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Even though I have no sympathy with Karachi Kings, I feel Islamabad is coming to rescue KK from getting kicked out of the tournament, and dispatching Lahore to oblivion :)
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Great Qalandars are still in the tournament...
Got text from Azhat saying, " dont read to much into it, i want to come home asap."
Re: Pakistan Super League, 19th Match: Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai (DSC),
Islamabad has the best team in the tournament, would play with 3 to 4 proper batsmen, 3 to 4 proper bowlers, a good wicket keeper and around 2 to 3 all rounders. You cannot have a better limited over team than Islamabad. If they apply themselves properly than they could even win the tournament.
Lahore is no where near Islamabad in any department (batting, bowling wicket-keeping or all-rounders ... as well as in captaincy, coaching or management calibre), and thus if Lahore would win than it would be fluke, but than fluke is part of Limited over game, though I do not see that happening today.
