What makes you think it was a revenge .... after all nothing happened in '65 .... all India did was stop Paksiatn's aggresion and push them even ... even though it was only 5 kilometers:D ...... India could have escalated but the leadership of the time though it (rightly so) wise not to escalate. However in '71 the leadership did decide to go ahead with what it was capable of doing .... India was ready to take action & it did .... simple .... no rhetoric no noise .... actions speak for themselves!!!
You see this is what war planners in Pakistan have not been applying themselves to for last 60 years .... you dont get into a fight if you cannot fight ... simple .... It was proved in '65 ... it was proved in Siachin and it again proved right in Kargil.

Go check your own media, it was India that crossed international border and dreamed of tea at lahore gymkhana and you blabber 1971 which was a bangali show...
