This allocation is so little, even if it is used better, Pakistan will still not prosper.

So Now the nuclear budget is under fire...
We need to increase the defense budget including tripling the budget for education and health and for that, we need to boost our economy... which as a matter of fact is not on the list of this govt...

Nuclear armaments are our need as they are essential to our survival as a nation re India. The money spent is not necessarily on increasing the nuclear arsenal but upgrading our capabilities as well. At least this $2bn is being spent on something we need, send it to other sectors and the money will end up in Switzerland in you know who's accounts or his cronies sons buying expensive Rolls Royce while poor man suffers. That is the true tragedy of this country.

So you are saying divert whole Pakistan's budget to above waste. Do you think generals are honest and they would not take single penny from such waste?

If you want to really Pakistan get rid of feudalism and land lord system, educate the young generations what is right and what is wrong. Don't you think good educated citizens of Pakistan are precious assets rather than wasting money to above such projects? Time has come to change this mentality if you really want Pakistan to survive and be competitive.

We have more than enough nukes already. We don't need another 100 more.
We need our people to be able to read and write, otherwise Pakistan has not future.

Situation has been changed since ZAB's time, particularly in Sindh. The change is slow it has to be expedited by the educated and honest leadership.
