Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
These South Asian countries can benefit a great deal by utilizing solar power, it will particularly be great for the rural out of reach communities. If only the corrupt politicians can start thinking about the people and not their own agendas.
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Pakistan is century ahead of solar energy technology, we are working on water energy :p
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Necessary needs of house can be met by smaller units of solar and wind power generating units. Last time I went to Karachi and I saw in few houses, people have installed wind mill on their roof top.
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
The government can save some electricity by converting the street lights to solar powered ones or by utilizing solar power for adding energy in the grid (as suggested by captain). The electricity saved can be provided to customers. We need long term solutions, not short term ones like IPPs which are good in the short tterm but are problematic in the long term.

Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Sleeping CM is less dangerous than mental retard active CM. Again my question is, is this idiot giving out solar panels from his pocket or misusing public money as usual in programs like distributing lap tops to so called poor students or sasta nan nafka schemes?

Yes, the public money should go directly into the Swiss banks. This stupid idiot is disgustingly spending it within Pakistan!
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
I disagree with these free give aways, govts should provide national/ provincial solutions using public money instead of buying public opinion using that money.
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Yes. Theoretically, this money should be spent on projects that create jobs and improves productivity which would eventually help people in long term.
This is, however, still a thousand times better than what the haram khors in centre and other provinces are up to.
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
where does the money for Bhikari banao programs (Benazir Income Support Fund) comes… From Swiss accounts of uncle Zardari? ![]()
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Seems Khadim Ala some close relative has just got a new factory of Solar Panels
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
What is wrong is wrong IMO, I’ll disagree with you making it sound right on ‘relatively’ basis.
Re: Pakistan & Solar Energy
Solar panels require high initial investment than electricity generators. This is why people are reluctant to get into this.
One more reason could be that solar companies in Pakistan have not marketed their solutions on large basis. People don't understand that this initial investment will pay off in a few years.
