Thats what I said, if you read my posts above, we do have a culture common with India also. Although Punjab and Sindh are next to India, we still (Pakistanis) have MORE in common with the west than the east. Religion plays a key role here.

No it doesnt. This is the typical obsession some of our people have with our so called brothers from the west. And may I ask you what role religion plays when these so called brothers of yours treat Pakistanis like dirt in their countries? And Im still waiting for a reply to my previous post. You talked about 'religion' what about language, food, physical resemblences, culture, architecture, values, traditions.
Resemblance wise most Pakistanis look very different from an average Indian, we are quite unique and superior to most of those towards our East.
Some of us may resemble Indian Punjabis who are physically superior (built, height, complexion) to other Indian, but Punjabis are a minority in India whereas a majority in Pakistan, even the Sindhis at our side on average are better looking than those on the other side, and the Pathan and the Baluch Pakistanis obviously have nothing in common with Indians.
On average a Pakistani is taller, better built, fairer, far more similar to the typical Bollywood hero than your average Indian, most Indians would look like those creatures in the background.
Except for parts of North Western India, all the southern and eastern parts of India are filled with short dark skinned ugly Hindus.
There are often fights between gangs in the UK and let me tell you Indian Hindus never dare put up a fight against Muslims/Pakistanis, our lads kick the crap out of them and also during the British rule most of those recruited in the army were from North West India (now Pakistan and parts of Sikh Punjab) with a sprinkling of Hindu Rajputs, on average Indian Hindus have an inferior built and hence not fit for fighting or anything manly, big deal, kids who are Dravidian or part Dravidian do better at school and stuff than those of mostly Aryan descent but who cares about that?
As far as the original topic is concerned then in my opnion we can pass off as both but Central Asian/West Asian is better because to be quite frank with you, South Asia is just dirty and dark.
^^^
what a lame reason to leave a regional association, on the basis of comelxion :) though SAARC is not working very well, i think the only reason behind enmity of Pakistan and India.
If it turned to a truely functional body then it can do wonders to improve life of member countries
we may not be exactly in south asia location wise, but we are neighbours to them!
btw Arab league will not accept us ;) only on the basis of relegion or being in west asia
if OIC plays a practical part we may not need SAARC, but i think something is better than nothing. it may improve in future if its not working properly right now.
Panjdaria/Zakki is right. Pakiland should instead form an association with Afghanistan....a country that resembles Pakistan much more than India...
Back to the topic.
The whole world - EU, ASEAN, et al see economic cooperation as the only way forward.
