Pakistan sect endures persecution

Jinnah's quotes: These may interest you .

1.Presidential Address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on 11th August, 1947.

[QUOTE]

As you know, history shows that in England conditions, some time ago, were much worse than those prevailing in India today. The Roman Catholics and the Protestants persecuted each other. Even now there are some States in existence where there are discriminations made and bars imposed against a particular class.** Thank God, we are not starting in those days. We are starting in the days when there is no discrimination, no distinction between one community and another, no discrimination between one caste or creed and another. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State. **

[QUOTE]

You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. *You may belong to any religion, caste or creed --that has nothing to do with the business of the State. *

  1. Broadcast talk to the people of the United States of America on Pakistan recorded February, 1948.

[QUOTE]

The constitution of Pakistan has yet to be framed by the Pakistan Constituent Assembly. I do not know what the ultimate shape of this constitution is going to be, but I am sure that it will be of a democratic type, embodying the essential principle of Islam. Today, they are as applicable in actual life as they were 1,300 years ago. Islam and its idealism have taught us democracy. It has taught equality of man, justice and fairplay to everybody. We are the inheritors of these glorious traditions and are fully alive to our responsibilities and obligations as framers of the future constitution of Pakistan. In any case Pakistan is not going to be a theocratic State to be ruled by priests with a divine mission. We have many non-Muslims --Hindus, Christians, and Parsis --but they are all Pakistanis. They will enjoy the same rights and privileges as any other citizens and will play their rightful part in the affairs of Pakistan.

[QUOTE]
The great majority of us are Muslims. We follow the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (may peace be upon him). We are members of the brotherhood of Islam in which all are equal in rights, dignity and self-respect. Consequently, we have a special and a very deep sense of unity. *But make no mistake: Pakistan is not a theocracy or anything like it. *

Thanks for the clarification. Have you been official appointed as new TTP spokesperson?

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

Discussion about Qadianies is not banned if the point is to try to prove them a "muslim sect" and "persecuted", and opened by a Qadiany or their supporters. if its the other way around, that is, showing the truth and their real face to the public, then its not allowed and thread will get locked right away

Dont try twist my words which have been clearly written!

Shia's have suffered much worse than Qadiyanis. You talk about the Government being a problem YET there only appears to be a problem in Punjab and not elsewhere.

Dont try to make Pakistan look worse than it is. This is what quite a few active Qadiyanis are doing online.

The Qadiyanis have a VERY LOUD voice in Pakistan and outside. Look at how that incident was treated as compared to the recent suicide attack in Mohmand Agency.

i agree with you. Pakistan is not to be developed as a theocratic state. but upon the model of Khalaifat e Rashada.

.

For some strange reason the alleged secularist keeps on mentioning Islam and Prophet Muhammad (saww). how odd..

actually i was just looking for someone to say this^

but more seriously you do know that allsorts of groups are and will jump into the mire as a consequence of the WOT, dont you!?

quit WOT, make peace with the tribals and they will live in their villages, walk across mountains and pakistan will still be there. you can deal with your internal pakistani problems

.

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

I wonder why a non-news from an obscure source can turn into a thread here.

Please let me know how many of these were qadianis.

I really thought GS was neutral on the issue, but no more.

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

^ditto :lifey:

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

oopps too many nickies

Love when he says Pakistan is not a theocracy. It's time to open our eyes and admit that the minorities are being persecuted day by day. Just a few days ago more than 50 hindus were attacked and left homeless when a hindu boy drank water from a facility outside the mosque.

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

^they were 50 qadianis not hindus and they were armed.they were not attacked for drinking water but cause they were trying to steal the cars of muslim worshippers who were praying in the masjid.

Go read your history.

Pakistan was created by Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who said that religion is no business of the state.

So infact, your the one who is anti Pakistan and an impersonator trying to qualify yourself as Pakistani, when you are clearly opposed to what the country was based on.

Its illiterate and ignorant people like you that have destroyed the country and should either fight to reclaim what the country was founded on, or leave. You choose.

The only ones who care about whther the Ahmadis are Muslim or not are the Mullahs. As far as the Pakistan state is concerned, they can believe in flying monkeys and it would still not make a difference.

LOL Your sunni chachas obviously couldn’t run a cycle repair shop, let alone an entire “bussines”..
Maybe an education would help your sunni chacha. :hehe:

Please get your head out of your ass. Stealing cars lmao. The poor hindus had to hide in a cattle pen when their houses were burned. Open your eyes please and learn to follow the steps of Quaid-e-Azam to unity.

Yeah, but Shias arent declared Non Muslim by the Pakistan govt. Nor are the banned from calling themselves Musims, using Muslim idioms, calling their Masjids Majids, or have the Kalima wiped from those Masjids.

This blatant stupidity is reserved for Ahmadis and no one else.
Only the most Jahil of Jahil in Pakistan would ever claim that laws that punish people with 3 years imprisonment for saying "salam" is somehow justified.

Now wait for the Jahils on this forum to speak their mind.

Why are you people so dumb?

Is it so hard to believe that Jinnah, by citing Islam, could possibly be invoking the universal values espoused not only by Islam but by all religions? No where in this sentance is he calling for a state based on religious doctrine. The problem for people with little understanding such as you, is that you take the man out of context, without understanding him as a whole.

Jinnah is not advocating a theocratic state, he is advocating for a state based on** equal in rights, dignity and self-respect!

His mistake was in thinking that people were intelligent enough to grasp the meaning of his statment.

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

Shalom, 3 years imprisonment for wishing peace upon someone? Reminds me of the Jahils in Mecca. It's not even a "Muslim" term, it's Arabic for god's sake and even Arab Christians use it to greet themselves and I'm pretty sure that even Christians in Pakistan use this term. Not to forget the Jews who greet each other with "Shalom Alejchem".

What If Christians and Jews would start punishing you in their countries because they think that you have twisted and turned THEIR religion into something different?

yea there were armed.50 qadiani men.they stole 10 cars and were later on apprehended by the village police where they confessed to their crime. They were not beaten but handed over to police.

anything that starts with what if is a fantasy and has no substance

Re: Pakistan sect endures persecution

Just as I thought Nasir, no condolences or anything which shows compassion for our Pakistani Hindu brothers. On the contrary, you are rather being sarcastic and think it's funny.
