Pakistan Says Noose Tightening Around Bin Laden

Fight on Pakistan, fight on…

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (Reuters) - Almost two years after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, Pakistan’s interior minister said Wednesday the noose was tightening around Osama bin Laden, the prime suspect.
Faisal Saleh Hayat said bin Laden’s whereabouts were still unknown but his al Qaeda militant network had been weakened with the help of “vital information” gleaned from his key aides arrested in recent months.

“As a result, slowly and gradually, the noose is tightening around Osama and his aides,” the official APP news agency quoted him as saying.

Hundreds of Afghan Taliban and al Qaeda suspects – including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, suspected of masterminding the Sept. 11 attacks, and Abu Zubaydah, one of the top aides of bin Laden – have been arrested in Pakistan since it became a key ally in the U.S.-led war on terror.

“To me, time, space and options are becoming limited by the day for Osama and all those linked to him,” Hayat added.

Bin Laden’s whereabouts have been a mystery since the fall of his hosts – the Afghan Taliban regime – in late 2001, with some speculating that he might be hiding in the border regions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Sounds like an "Arafat" noose to me.....

Recipe to keep a nation under fear:

  1. Create a bogeyman.
  2. Keep him in the news.
  3. Attack but make sure you stop short of actually killing him.
  4. Keep him in the news again. Highlight his 'communications' and the activities of his 'loyalists'.
  5. Time and again declare you're close to getting him.
  6. If attention starts fading.. go back to step 1.

anyway.. most of the media is controlled by americans.. so they have to problem

allah hafiz

^ The dont have to leave from anywhere. Its the US we are talking bout, remember :D?
The two clowns: Saddam and OBL are not in their own respective countries anyway.

To me, it sounds more like a recipe for getting more aid. Whenever it stops coming, go to step 1.
