Can anyone tell me what the average salary is these days in Pakistan for a Senior Manager (General Manager level) in industry? Just going through my (almost) annual “bukhaar” of thinking of a move to Pakistan yet again !! I need to collect data on salary level I can expect before starting to put an “amli jaama” to my plans !!

Any industry as I just want to get a feel as to what the average salary is these days. With regards to my qualifications, that is irrelevant - I just want salary info for a GM position in a multi-national or large private firm.

well it depends upon ur field and type of company u go in
if its multi national and if u have foriegn qualifications and work experience u can Negotiate, in good companyu can even get pay according to international standards
how ever in local companies it will be less
and again depending on field (like textile,telecom,banking) u can expect good salary range( 1 lac to 2.5 lac)/month
but every thing will depend upon ur field,ur comapny and ur qualifications and if ur into teaching stuff like have Phd so Higher education commision are selecting people from abroad with pay from 1 lac to 2.5 lac / monthI hope that helps

Thanks for the info. My field is automotive - my current role is a senior management role with a major OEM so I would expect a GM role in pakistan.
