sarkar, i still maintain my stance. take younis, misbah and saeed ajmal out and you will see what will happen to test cricket rankings. nothing solid is coming out of our first class in last 8 years or so.

Saeed ajmal is already out for long.

ofcourse younus misbah have their roles but Pak has a ton of lineup hidden behind the old names like hafeez, shoaib malik etc. it wont be a disaster if after proper grooming, selection is done on merit.

Just take a look at Hassan. His bowling is impressing everyone. Ofcourse if you keep on beating the same drum they wont come out ever.

i know saeed is out but my comment was in regards to his role in this no 1 test rankings. he was key in beating england 3-0 and many other test matches. and then ofcourse younis and misbah

which hidden gems are you talking about? sarkar, all those hidden gems are out there and they dont even average 40 in first class cricket. i have written extensively on this. babar azam is the only one who has impressed me.

anyway, lets stay optimistic. all i am saying that in last 10 years, I have not seen one world class bastman, spinner, all roundr,or fast bowler on bench. they are ok but no yoyo, inzi, younis, misbah, wasim, waqar, shoaib, abdul razaq
