Good to hear. Pakistan should continue these kind of Confidence building measures to create good atmosphere for peaceful life for minorities. It shows the good part of Pakistan. Good peoples are every where. India & Hindus should admire this. Congrats Pakistan. Let us respect each other Faith. But, the most important thing is Let us try to Respect the Humans more than the Faiths. Hope this message posted by NDTV will be Received in Right Spirit by all peoples. And, Once again Congrats Pakistan for Good initiative
For me it is not a news. We shuld hv done it before this type of articles became a talk of the forms/news. Religion should be a private concept unlike in our society. Yaha her basar mulaman bana phirta hai--------------
I am surprised that they did spend that money because right now nothing seems to be going well in Pak ( what with the economy being so bad, the power crisis and huge losses from the epic floods last year ). But it is good news.
Also satisfying for Pakistani Hindus and majority Pakistani Muslims who care.
yes you are correct actually it is a good news really for every right thinking indian and pakistanis equally , encouraging news amidst daily sad events going on now a days worldwide for common folks who want to live peacefully
Good job by the Pakistan govt. Pakistani Hindus are a valued minority community and should be protecting/maintaining their houses of worship, just like the Mosques that we hold dear.
The renovation of the Katas Raj temples has been going on for quite some time, but had a lot to do with the fact that its gained much attention. So its become sort of a center piece in Indo-Pak relations. Prior to the start of peace negotiations in the late 90's and 2000's, the area was pretty much left deteriorating. They have since built up the area, except the pool is now apparently polluted owing to the numerous cement factories now in the area.
These beautiful structures should be protected and promoted as Pakistan's heritage along with all other historic structures currently present within its boundaries.
