What a waste. Our people are killing each other. we have no internal security. We have a limited economy, we dont have proper health facilities and they are making a spy planes worth millions.

CM ji, you are absolutely wrong. Internal security is still intact, no doubt that we do have some security issues, but to say that its completely out of control, would be unfair. Its the terrorists( mostly non Pakistanis ) who are killing innocent people, and the government is still in the process to bring them to justice. I, however agree with you that we need to spend more on health issues and education, but the fact of the matter is that in todays world, where we the Pakistanis are living under constant threat of war from our neighbor, it would be unwise to ignore the defence related matters.
Sure i am absolutely wrong, that is why there have been 2 attempts on the CEs life. That is why people get robbed in broad day light on the streets of the major cities. That is why people carry guns like watches. That is also why there have been so many attacks on our own people, forget the americans. That certainly shows internal security. Oh boy am i wrong or what.
Sorry for the sarcasm, but i just wanted to make my point. I personally see all this funding going to a few rich elites and not the common man in Pakistan. The Pakistani forces need to be brought down to the level of humans and not gods. They get to many benefits and perks esp. since a majority havent even seen war. A spy plane is a waste of money when our people cant read and write.
CM, this is a perfect move... Obviously, we have proven that we cannot stabilize our economy, and the only reason why the name Pakistan has repute is the fact that the nation has overcome all odds and has proven that it is capable of performing feats that cannot be accomplished by other nations... Our nuclear programme is such a feat. Can Iran, which would certainly love to have nukes, develop it? No, its just because our people are gifted, and we can use this gift to balance of terror, the spy planes gifted to India by Israel...

CM ji, the reason the army is treated like Gods is because the politicians have disappointed the masses. Instead of blaming the army for it, I think you need to ask the civilian leaders( BB and NS ), why they have brought the country to a point where it was made necessary for the army to take over. BTW, I must say that you are absolutely right when you say that the most army men have'nt seen a war, but there is a reason for it, and that is our nuclear deterrance, and nothing else. Also, just imagine for a moment, that today if we did'nt had our nuclear deterrance, our strong armed forces, we would be treated like the Palestians, and the role of Isreal would be played by the largest democracy.
Dont get me wrong, I love democracy too, but the fact of a matter is the our civilian leaders were not different at all from Zia-ul-Haq's government. And the mnute they got an oppertunity, they started robbing the country with both hands....
Palestininans are downtrodden not only because they don't have an Army.. it's because they lack infrastructure and production and a good economy too.
If the Army ever allows true democratic elections and it's agencies don't meddle with governmental affairs, the poeple of Pakistan are bound to achieve the same and maybe better goals.. afterall if was a democratic government which started the nuclear programme and another democratic one which test fired it.

well all i can say is this that 'common man is also involved' in corrupting our system... since they can't beat the system so they have become a part of it...u c problem is on both sides...i won't take either side bcoz no right...both are wrong...and 2 wrongs can not make a right ...
