Indian entertainment channel Star Plus has topped the list of most watched entertainment channels in Pakistan.
According to data for last month from Gallup Pakistan’s TV Ratings service, Star Plus had an average reach of around 7 million Cable and Satellite viewers in the month of May. Second in line was PTV Home with approximately 4 million viewers. Urdu 1 continues make great inroads in the Pakistani entertainment channels market. However, its growth has been recently arrested with launch of other channels showing similar foreign content.
The channel list below provides list of other top ten entertainment channels. Please note that the figures released are not counting the viewership of terrestrial TV viewers. These terrestrial TV viewers still occupy a majority of TV viewers in the country.

These ratings don't mean anything without knowing how the ratings were taken. What kind of sample group was used? Urban households? Rural households? Di their sample group accurately represent the national sample? I seriously doubt Gallup went into interior villages for the sample. Or Baluchistan etc. I am not saying the ratings are wrong but I don't have faith in thei representative sample
