So a team that lost in the Final of the 1st T20 WC. Won the 2nd T20 WC. And lost in the SF of the 3rd is ranked 7th in the T20 rankings.

It is surprise australia and india are above us. I would understand the lower ranking because recently we lost against teams who were seeded lower than us (SA, Eng, NZL) and hence their points improved. But india and australia.. hmmm.

Pakistan's recent record is not THAT good to be honest.

That answers why is the team ranked # 7.
