u know what the average speed wud have been? almost 100 miles an hour NON STOP.....even now, as u say, 8-9 hours wud be considered super. **
8-9 hours i said is what being offered currently and before when this new train was launched it was 140KM/hour.
ran by the name korakoram express, from karachi its started at 4pm and its arrival time in lahore was 9am, although what i heard it used tobe late.
i didnt travel till lahore in it but within sindh province but for us it was great from karachi to Rohri/sukkur 5.5-6 hours including one stop total distance around 500 kms
furthermore we dont have long distances as its in india so speed is a factor but personal opinion i want is quality of service and interior.
