Risalpur Locomotive Factory was the one which was assembling Hitachi railway locomotives perhaps in the early nineties. Billions were spent then on this factory by building brand new Railway colony, school hospital and other infrastructure. DB only post promotional news and perhaps what he is paid for. He knows dick about Pakistan Railway. Only Railway minister can answer your question why Hitachi locomotives are not manufactured? Perhaps the main reason as someone pointed out earlier, less or no commission is generated if Hitachi locomotives are built in Risalpur.
