You opened it at a good time, as I’m going to start a book ‘Amongst the Sikhs: Reaching for the Stars’ by Dr Surjit Kaur. Its about case of studies of prosperity of Sikh families around the globe. I believe, those NRI Sikhs have courage and will to return to their homeland (Punjab) and serve it, which is a rare phenomenon in Pakistani Punjab. jo gaya so gaya.

Indian Punjab was divided into 3 states. Punjab (Punjabi speaking Sikhs), Haryana (Hindi speaking) and Himachal Pardesh (PahaRi speaking).

Area of Indian Punjab: 50,362 km2 (19,445 sq mi)
Area of Pakistani Punjab: 205,344 km2 (79,284 sq mi)

so Pakistani Punjab is 4 times larger than Indian Punjab.

I always thought that Indian Punjab was bigger

The sad thing is that even though its 3 times bigger than Indian one but not that was developed
