Well, there were 300 seats in election that were contested. Apart of those 300 seats, there were 13 reserved seats for women ... 7 from East Pakistan and 6 from West Pakistan ... making total seats - 313.
Mujib 'Awami League' took all those 7 women seats from East Pakistan, as he had 160 out of 162 East Pakistan NA seats plus most of East Pakistan PA seats (288 out of 300) ... and that is why you have figure 167 out of 169 (162 + 7) East Pakistan seats, that was out of total 313 Pakistan NA seats (300 elected + 13 reserved for women) :)
I am not sure that those women reserved seats were really taken, as all those blunder started just after election, but it is expected that all those 7 seats belong to AL and they are counted as AL seats]
Well next time get your FIGURES right then.
